Carlos was born and raised in Texas (Amarillo and Waco).  After a stint at Harvard College and Harvard Law School in the early 90s, Carlos returned to Texas to practice law.  He has also practiced for many years in California and remains an active member of the bar there.  His experience includes tort defense in a wide variety of areas, including personal injury, mass torts, and product liability.  His other major practice focus is insurance coverage litigation and advising.  He has a passion for History and board games.  He is a recovering Cowboys fan who now cheers wholeheartedly for the Texans.
