DJ is a trial lawyer with Donato, Brown, Pool & Moehlmann. Born outside of Cleveland, Ohio, DJ spent his childhood moving around the country for his dad’s work. He graduated from Kingwood High School and considers Houston home. After graduating law school in Oklahoma City, DJ returned to Houston to begin his legal career. DJ’s focus is on personal injury litigation and defense, with a primary focus on catastrophic and fatality cases.

Prior to law school, DJ spent nearly eight years working in the motorcycle industry, as a parts salesman and manager for Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Harley-Davidson dealerships. DJ’s legal education coupled with his life experience give him a unique perspective and approach to all aspects of client and case management. In his free time, DJ enjoys camping and being outdoors, and he still occasionally competes in motocross races around the state and country, a hobby and passion of his for over 20 years.
