Jacob Vegas joined Donato Brown Pool & Moehlmann in 2024 after serving as a Summer Law Clerk in 2023. During that time, he gained valuable experience in a wide range of industries and practices, providing him with a solid foundation in litigation practice. While attending law school, Jacob was a member of the Student Bar Association, Oil and Gas Law Society, Aggie Law Society, and held a board position as the Historian of the Tax Law Society. Jacob was a member of the Board of Advocates and competed on behalf of South Texas College of Law Houston’s nationally recognized Varsity Moot Court team. As an advocate, he competed at the highest level in multiple competitions nationwide. As a result of his achievements as an oral advocate, Jacob was admitted into the prestigious Order of the Barristers, which recognizes the top advocates from law schools across the country.
